7 Minute Workout Featured in Apple's WWDC26 Keynote
By Stuart Hall · Last updated: June 14, 2026
7 Minute Workout was featured in Apple's WWDC26 Keynote. During the segment covering Apple's Foundation Models framework, the on-device AI APIs that power Apple Intelligence, 7 Minute Workout was called out as an example of an app putting it to use. Apple followed up with an App Store story, Apps and Games Featured in the Keynote, which also includes 7 Minute Workout.
What happened at WWDC26
At WWDC26, Apple expanded the Foundation Models framework, which gives developers access to the on-device large language model that powers Apple Intelligence. As part of the Keynote, Apple highlighted apps already building with the framework, and 7 Minute Workout was one of them.
Apple's App Store also published a story called "Apps and Games Featured in the Keynote," which opens with a clip of the Keynote's closing video, featuring Erick the Architect, and then lists apps and games from across the Keynote, including 7 Minute Workout alongside apps like (Not Boring) Habits and 12min: Book Summaries Daily.
Where to see the feature
You can view the App Store story directly: Apps and Games Featured in the Keynote. The WWDC26 Keynote, including the Foundation Models segment, is also available to watch on Apple's developer site and YouTube.
Why this matters to us
This is the second time in 2026 that Apple's editorial team has recognized 7 Minute Workout, following its inclusion in "26 Apps for 2026" earlier in the year. Being highlighted as an example of an app built with Apple's on-device AI framework, in front of the entire developer community, is one of the clearest signals we have had that a simple, focused approach to the 7 minute workout is resonating.
Thank you for the reviews, the streaks, and the daily 7 minutes. We will keep the app fast, simple, and focused on getting you moving.
