Researchers at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, had exercisers complete a 20-minute bodyweight circuit workout using the same 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off setup used in the 7-Minute Workout, people burned an average of 15 calories per minute, which is awesome—nearly twice what you’d get during a long, steady run.


So the 7 Minute Workout burns approximately 117 calories for the standard duration.
